FEATURES: Newsprint that is not suitable for printing is downgraded for secondary use in the packaging industry. Newsprint is a smooth, low-cost paper with many applications. All of our standard newsprint rolls have an 8" outer diameter and a 3" inner diameter. Since most applications do not require a solid core, our standard rolls do not have a solid core. However, we can produce rolls with a solid core upon your request. The grade of newsprint available to the packaging industry is relatively constant with a basis weight between 27.7 lb. to 30 lb. This corresponds to an approximate thickness of 3.2 mils and an approximate length of 1200 feet.
